Great work environment, don't count on advancement.
Pros
Good compensation, benefits include medical, dental and vision, 401k match, and a pension. In general, rank and file employees are treated with respect by leadership. Managers listen the the opinions of their subordinates and inter-departmental collaboration is encouraged.
Cons
401k match isn't as high as that of other employers. Leadership positions are often filled by outside candidates. AECC will not provide the leadership experience they require for management positions, but won't promote without it either. Employees are regularly pushed to work longer hours than normal. There is a lack of diversity at remote locations and it shows. Plant staff (including management) are vocal about their political opinions and intolerant of divergent viewpoints.
