Pros

Not being employed with this company any longer.

Cons

1) This is pretty much a cold-calling job. And all the Arrive branches share the same cold calling lists, so you end up annoying the other party. 2)The company experiences high turnover rates due to job demands and expectations, and clearly shows because they set up monthly orientation training classes. 3) The job is described as a "salary" job, but not during the 3 month training period. One still has to clock in and out, and if you want to get out for lunch, you will get concerning looks. 4) You will get free food, drinks, a "calm" app, and other tactics to lure you into staying at your desk for the full 10 hour work day. 5) San Antonio branch management enables and condones an unhealthy work environment with on-the-job alcoholic drinks, and will look the other way if whistleblowers bring to attention the use of substances on the job. Not the best environment if you are a recovering addict.

Pros

You might make SOME friends, but honestly no one really CARES about you. You are just a warm body

Cons

This place is a FRAT House. There hardly any women in major roles, maybe 10% or their work force is women. Less that half of that are people of color. They give you unreachable goals even when the market is in a downturn, and will have no sympathy if you don’t hit said goals. They find every way to tax you and actually TAKE money from you over things you can’t control in this market. These people are ‘INVESTING’ in technology when it still has to be tweaked (and it’s been like that for years) these investments are all to replace people for cheaper labor or just have their clients book off their website. Just go be an Uberfreight already.

Pros

It looks good on a resume for a better position that will treat you like a human being.

Cons

Management routinely tells you to conduct unethical business, engages in innapropriate / uncomfortable conversations in group settings (team g-chats / slack channels). Work Life Balance (what life??). Zero guidance after you are onboarded.
