Pros

You'll have a few coworkers you bond with, but honestly, that's about where it ends.

Cons

- Bad PTO (5 days of sick leave during covid?!), and it's accrual based, so if you ever want take more than a week off at a time, you're stuck doing it at the end of the year with all the other schmos. - Communication at this company is beyond terrible. You learn more through employee gossip than you do from official channels - Super high turnover - The culture is a frat house disguised as a business. Imagine being on the phone with a client and hearing expletives being shouted across the building into your mic because it's LITERALLY THE MOTTO - The company will just renege on its policies and promises to employees (WFH is a big one) without warning or explanation - They chastise SALARIED employees for not working exactly 8-5 (they don't punch a time clock, so WTF?) - The brain drain happening at this place is out of control. They've run off so much institutional knowledge that it's sad. There are still a lot of good employees working there, but they're trying to outsource support, cut pay and cap commission for revgen, and somehow are shocked pikachu faces when people get upset at quit. Unless you know you can get in and get out without too much damage to your psyche, go somewhere else. The pay is middling at best, the health insurance is expensive, and their 401k match is pitiful.

Pros

Provide free lunch on Fridays

Cons

No structure at this place. You'll be managed by a group of incompetent managers/senior managers/VP's that will micromanage you for ten hours a day. There's definitely a lack of leadership at Arrive and that could be due to several reasons. 1. You have certain managers running around just screaming nonsense all day. 2. A lot of your managers conduct themselves more like children than recent college grads or interns in the office. 3. You give higher up roles to your friends when they're clearly not capable of fulfilling the role that they're in which leads to resentment amongst employees. Huge drug/fraternity culture "LFG" are you serious? That's the company motto... That just goes to show the sharp witted individuals running this place. Initially Arrive was running on Keypoint as their software which is Supply Chain Software from the 80's or 90's while they were in the midst of hyping up their "proprietary" software "Accelerate." I find it sad that the software from the 80s and 90s actually managed to be more efficient than the software they spent several years developing. And that isn't a praise to Keypoint, it's a knock on their own developed software. Both constantly crash for several hours throughout the day which makes it nearly impossible to do your job and when you're working on commission that is unacceptable. Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews on here. As a former employee I have been asked to write 5 star reviews and all employees on the floor were asked to call their customers and carriers and ask them to write 5 star google reviews. A vast majority of employees don't understand the commission structure which leads to Arrives very vague explanation over and over again. There's something very shady going on employees feel that they're getting short paid on their commission and you can't give them an actual explanation on where that money is.

Pros

Free lunch on Fridays, casual workplace.

Cons

Arrive is a high stress and low pay workplace. They treat their employees unequally usually having favorites and giving them the better accounts. They were also one of the last companies to let workers work from home during Covid-19 Pandemic because of trust, "You will only play video games if we let you work from home". We were given the option to work 8-5 or 7-4 if we hit our metrics the month before, but I was still asked to come in earlier or leave later without getting compensated for those extra hours. Management also assured us that “If you do what we ask of you your job is safe”. 1 week later I, along with 130 other employees, were laid off without notice. I was a top performer in my group in metrics and commission, and I know some low performers were not let go so I know performance had nothing to do with it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We value your perspective, and want to ensure we address your concerns. In response to these unprecedented market conditions, Arrive leadership made difficult decisions to safeguard our business for our employees, customers and partners. These decisions did not come lightly because we know the impact it had on many of our colleagues and their families. We encourage you to contact our People Operations team for more information about our severance packages, access to benefits, and unemployment assistance. Arrive’s action plan in response to the COVID-19 crisis was developed quickly, carefully, and in compliance with all federal and state regulations. We ensured all employees were equipped with all of the necessary tools and resources to successfully work-from-home as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we took precautions to ensure working from the office was safe, including washing stations, distanced seating arrangements, and strict personal health requirements. 100% of the Arrive’s employees are now working from home, and we will not return to the office until it is safe to do so. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best.
