Pros

The science behind the technology is really good. Good benefits, generous time off.

Cons

ArsenalBio is one of the most toxic places I have worked at. I really regret joining this company when I had many other great opportunities. If you are a PhD and if you want to build a career please run away from this place.

Pros

There is no more exciting place to be in the cell therapy space. Arsenal checks all the boxes: 1) exceptional founders & phenomenal founding IP 2) an experienced CEO with a laser focus on financing and business development - nobody works harder 3) top-notch scientific leadership - Nick Haining, Susie Jun, Tarjei Mikkelsen, and Tim Sirichoke are all seasoned veterans with the know-how to get things done 4) talented employees that are committed to the vision of making best-in-class cell therapies 5) a company infrastructure that supports employees better than any of its peers 6) mature, seasoned investors with exceptional track records Most impressively, our first product is in the clinic, and we are excitedly awaiting the initial results. The journey from concept to the clinic in less than three years for a therapy with a novel mechanism of action, based on a new manufacturing method, has been truly remarkable. I look forward to my next few years at Arsenal, during which we'll put additional products into the clinic and continue our discovery efforts to develop cell therapies that transform patients' lives.

Pros

In an environment where competitors are reducing their work force or closing up shop entirely, Arsenal continues to advance its internally-led and partnered programs. This is largely due to game-changing science - potentially transformative technologies that super-charge T cells to fight solid tumors. Moving products into clinical-stage research is expensive, but the leadership team makes appropriate trade-offs while raising funding to succeed. In challenging times, Arsenal is a great company to work for.

Cons

Biotech financing as a whole is challenging in this down-market. Constrained finances mean we cannot pursue every opportunity we would like to, but must make trade-offs.
