The journey from concept to the clinic in less than three years for a therapy with a novel mechanism of action, based on a new manufacturing method, has been truly remarkable. I look forward to my next few years at Arsenal, during which we'll put additional products into the clinic and continue our discovery efforts to develop cell therapies that transform patients' lives.

In an environment where competitors are reducing their work force or closing up shop entirely, Arsenal continues to advance its internally-led and partnered programs. This is largely due to game-changing science - potentially transformative technologies that super-charge T cells to fight solid tumors. Moving products into clinical-stage research is expensive, but the leadership team makes appropriate trade-offs while raising funding to succeed.
