Pros

Flexible hours. I personally was involved with the online school as a student, and I view this as a great way to give back to the community.

Cons

Pros

The quality of students at AoPS is unparalleled - rarely do you find both students who are so committed and motivated to learning mathematics. You can also set your own hours as a grader/TA/instructor, which is helpful for folks with varied schedules.

Cons

Work can be slow in the first few months after hiring, depending on your timing - if you're a grader, the grading pool can run low in January-March, and if you're working in classrooms, assignments are recurring but only given out every four months or so.
