Pros

Article has strong company values focusing on inclusivity, understanding, and diversity. They work to embody the culture of large tech brands with a focus on work life balance, remote working, and a swish office space with free snacks and drinks - should you decide to work from the office. Good employee benefits are given, especially for entry level positions, and equipment is provided for all roles. Good compensation compared to market average for the role.

Cons

The customer care department is an important one, especially for a company that prides itself on "customer obsession". However the department is mostly viewed by the company as crucial, but expendable - due to its entry level status. The Customer Care department does not get respect compared to other departments in the company. It is very hard to grow in the company into external departments.

I've worked at Article for nearly two years on the Customer Care team. Throughout my time I've enjoyed working with teams across many different departments to resolve challenges and create ways for a smoother more enjoyable customer experience. It is very clearly understood that Customer Obsession is our trademark and what separates us from our competitors. It's inspiring to see all parts of the business factor this into every decision they make. Thank you for sharing your experience. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the supportive culture and your team. Our Win Together value is one that we feel our Particles are truly amazing examples of. Our alternating channel work across phone, chat and email was implemented as a direct result of feedback from our team. The preference towards shorter blocks ensures no one gets phone or chat fatigue. While it may be more efficient in handling our call volume with longer blocks, we chose to take this route to improve our Customer Care Associates’ experience at work in the long run. We’re hoping to become more and more flexible with how we work in the future.
