      - Good Culture - Worked with a lot of good people - Decent pay

      Cons

      Business is not what it used to be. Multiple (10+) locations shut down and mass layoffs over the course of the last 24 months causing a constant state of anxiety amongst all employees.

      We decided to close our smaller delivery warehouses as a result of ending our internal delivery services. We now are utilizing our four large North American fulfillment centers as distribution hubs and working with 3rd party logistics partners for final mile deliveries. This decision was made after this thorough analysis and consideration of current market conditions. The price of external 3rd party final mile carriers has decreased significantly while the service level now matches what we could provide. This combination meant that our internal delivery services were no longer competitive and we had to say goodbye to some amazing employees. This was a tough decision, but the right decision for managing costs which otherwise would have impacted our customers. -Tim Melland, VP, Logistics

      Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Regarding how we promote, we do promote people from within. For example, in Los Angeles Operations Manager was hired as a Driver, then became a Supervisor, and is now an Operations Manager. Also Article, all jobs posted externally are open internally, however, there are many jobs that we only post internally, because we know the required talent exists within and we want to see our people grow. For the HR team, we have competent and experienced People & Culture partners who support our various teams, including our fulfillment team across the US.
