Pros

On site clinic, daycare(if opening is available), health insurance, profit sharing. Most people can find an easy comfortable position in the company.

Cons

Things move slowly especially in IT. Advancement can be difficult, experience is valued over talent and great talent often leaves because of this. Many people become comfortable in their positions and lose interest because any extra effort out in will likely not be beneficial.
