Pros

It's a job. Pleasant people to work with.

Cons

Comparatively low salary. Lack of consistent managerial support and guidance. Working with people doing the same job for the same parent company you are providing support for who work shorter hours, and get paid more with better sickness and pension benefits. The offices are in an obscure part of the town which means unless you drive or live on the doorstep the job isn't really viable. The job is part of the 'flexi hours' system; which would mitigate the transport problem by allowing us to use the works bus, or leave in time for the public transport bus. However the company are very inflexible about flexi hours. Which means a journey which should take an hour often takes up to three. My bill for transport to and from work is £315 a month as twice a week I miss the last bus home by minutes, so I have to take a taxi which totals nearly £60! If I were able to use the works bus and public transport it would be only about £55 a month. The inflexibility of the flexible working hours should be pointed out at interview stage. If at all possible try and get a job with the company Arvato are supplying workers for not Arvato. Their working conditions pay etc are almost always much better.

Pros

Multinational environment, good trainings, technical backstopping available, normal business working hours.

Cons

Middle management is childish, distrustful of and uninterested in employees. Salaries are on the low side. Hardly any fixed contracts are awarded anymore.
