Endless stress, last minute deadlines, unqualified managers

Pros

Workday app for timekeeping and PTO, well-designed website. There is a generous PTO program, yet sometimes it is difficult to get PTO approved, especially when you have a lot of time accrued. Awesome CEO!

Cons

Lots of unrealistic deadline; too many simultaneous and disorganized projects; decisions and approvals take an unnecessarily long time which creates even more last minute deadlines; expectation of working long hours and while on PTO, yet salaried employees are wrongfully docked for working partial days; low morale. The company definitely does not value you.

Pros

Mostly casual atmosphere, friendly working environment. Training is encouraged.

Cons

Overload of work for most people. 9-hour day is standard (8 plus lunch) and getting assigned work done means OT. Systems are almost impossible to learn. Most people should really be hourly and are listed as exempt to avoid the significant overtime required.

Pros

Working remote is very convenient.

Cons

Upper management is ruining what used to be a great company to work for. Constant missteps by the leadership has driven seasoned professionals out of the company. Constantly changing core processes mid year causing huge delays, increased workload, and angry clients. They refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and pass the responsibility of poor performance on to ground level employees. Compensation is stagnant. I recently found out that I am being paid at least 10k under the industry standard for my level of experience. There is no room or opportunity for growth in the company. If they have decided they want you in a particular role they will hold you there even if other roles are available and hiring. People are leaving in droves. The turnover rate I was recently given was 25%! One in four people are jumping ship consistently.
