Pros

Working with some decent people in your department

Cons

Ascensus, especially in participant services, is the embodiment of "You are only a number to us." Ascensus doesn't have your best interests at heart. They have a culture of not doing internal hiring, so they are not looking to ever promote you. They just try to keep you at the current participant services department, if you ask about promotion they just say you need more time. RAMPANT FAVORITISM

Pros

There are some great team members and newer managers

Cons

The old guard from the BISYS days leave a lot to be desired. To say they lack management skills would be an understatement. When one manager warns you in private about another manager, then you know there is something wrong. The workload is not proportionate for the pay. More specifically, if you want blood, or 40 - 60 hours a work and lots of headaches, then you need to pay your people and make them whole. The compensation may have been acceptable for a cake job, but the expectations were far from being reasonably aligned.
