IT is *not* the focus

Pros

- Wide range of technologies and applications, with a focus on e-commerce and systems integrations, fertile ground for "brown field", "green field" and "blue sky" projects, leveraging the latest tools, technologies and practices. - Each Manager / Director has a lot of latitude on how to run their teams, so good leaders are great to work for.

Cons

- High turnover of tech staff with domain expertise requires systems to be frequently relearned. - Lack of documentation on implemented systems. - Siloed teams with no knowledge transfer between them. - Heavy reliance on offshore contractors makes implementing standards and practices very difficult. - Policies and practices are built around factory workers and store salesmen, and developers and other technical team members are squeezed into these policies, often like a round peg in a square hole. - Each Manager / Director has a lot of latitude on how to run their teams, so bad leaders are really bad to work for.

Pros

- Ybor is a fun place to work - The Christmas party is fun - Made some great friends - Get some good hands on experience

Cons

- The CEO is psychotic and runs the place like a cult - Management does not give their employees proper feedback or reviews - Salary range is laughable. Good people are being paid pennies while others get paid triple to sit on their phones all day - Too cliquey and favoritism is everywhere - COVID is not taken seriously enough and is often laughed at - Marketing ladies are rude and disrespectful (you know who you are) - The creative team is treated like a contracted agency and not like a segment of marketing - Very white in the building
