Pros

Wonderful work environment, great team, flexible hours, was able to meet interesting people at work on a daily basis.

Cons

Very little if any pay for interns (especially American interns because of visa laws), and would have very little work to perform some days.

Pros

Benefits are great. Good health and dental. Summer friday's. Unlimited sick days. Hours are 9:30-5:30 so you avoid a bit of the commuting rush. Good work/life balance. Great fairly new CEO. Bright, articulate, great leadership qualities. She's taken some great steps to re-organize the company for the better and have provided small perks to show appreciation for employees. It's nice to see her put a bit of pressure on upper management, something the org lacked before.

Cons

There has been talk for a few years to get rid of summer friday's which is a big mistake IMO. It's the one perk that keeps me from leaving. Also, because sick days are unlimited, when you do use one, it's like 20 questions. I rather have an allotted number of sick days and not have to prove to managers I was sick. Growth opportunities are scarce although for the last year or so since the new CEO has come on board, a lot of highly paid upper level managers have left leaving room for those under to get promoted. I agree with many of the comments in regards to upper managers not being effective leaders and weighing down their subordinates with most of the work. Some of these upper managers IMO are completely incompetent. Thankfully a few have left, but a couple really good managers have left too. I can think of one still lingering around which is a bit of a shock. A few very key leaders have left and lately every week someone new is leaving. They need to get better at retaining good talent and removing those who are hurting the org.
