Management heavy with little to no employee support
Pros
For the most part, the work is enjoyable, the projects interesting and the timetables are reasonable. The pay was decent, but not great. Tech minded employees were generally pretty knowledgeable and working with other team members was pleasant.
Cons
Management was typically pretty poor. Non-technical managers assigned to technical projects making stupid mistakes and decisions that led to future problems. Second-line managers doing drive-by management, making snap decisions with no discussion or, really, any knowledge about the impact of said decisions. No support whatsoever when directed to "lead" the team if other employees refused to participate. Semi-regular layoffs, no promotions, raises or bonuses. Flat out lying when asked about promotions/raises/work performance, etc. Bottom line is Aspect spouts off about being a pro-employee employer, when the reality is, that they are just worried about squeezing every last dime of work out of you for as long as you'll let them.
