Salary is OK Company has cashflow If you want to have no impact professionally and still be paid it is great Staff level is intelligent and many feel the same way as posted here extensively

Cons

You feel hopeless since the "PHD gods" do not allow for input to their minds You can only watch the out of touch decisions come down and despair you are on a path to nowhere Management conflicts on every level with each other like small children who do not know how to play Employee goals and jobs are aligned to compete and fail Way too many VP's most of them are not qualified for being VP of anything The VP's stay in place for decades much like academia (from where they come)

Very good co-workers and family-like working environment in the team. Good team-work spirit and mutual respects. Opportuinties to learn something new and develop yourself.

Cons

Communications between different departments are not smooth or effective enough. Too many unnecessary meetings. Lack of training on the latest technologies and business. Dictatorial control in some area.
