Pros

It's really a good company to work for. I have been in the company for more than 3 years.

Cons

Need more training, more team building and for new guys we should do more training for them.

Thanks for the positive feedback. We are always looking for new and creative ways to develop our employees. With organizational development being a top priority for our CEO, we are investing a lot more time and resources in the area of Training & Development (e.g. New hire onboarding).

Pros

There are pros and cons to Aspen. The pros are good benefits and changing leadership. I believe the new leadership team is trying to make Aspen customers and employees see that Aspen is an innovative, collaborative and ever changing company.

Cons

The cons of Aspen are that senior management is blind to their core principals actually being applied in the day to day. Good benefits and decent pay is not always worth the stress of the demanding tasks.

Thank you for the feedback. As we move to our next phase of growth, we are building our culture around the principles of Innovation, Collaboration and Execution. This is a top priority for our CEO, as well as our senior leaders. Culture transformation does not happen overnight, but we look forward to the journey ahead.

Pros

Good starting benefits and vacation (3 weeks)

Cons

If you want a fun work opportunity with flex time, growth, and freedom to excel...continue your search. You will not get that here at Aspen. No flex time No availability to work from home No snow days (use vacation day if you didn't make it in with 2+ feet of snow...) Forget day appointments No perks in terms of that. Mandatory work hours makes it hard to enjoy coming to the office. 2 years at Aspen and not one growth opportunity so don't expect that. With micro managers don't expect to excel and grow on a personal career level. Company moral is almost non existent and I feel bad for HR as they are trying to increase it, however, I feel most employees could care less about it.

I am sorry that you felt there was no growth opportunity in your role. We support career advancement through internal Career Development Workshops as well as outside resources, such as talks from career growth experts. We encourage all employees to take advantage of these resources and to discuss career goals with their managers to help identify opportunity for development. We continue to see a strong sense of employee pride displayed at many employee-led events, such as holiday parties, social outings and organized sporting events. We do recognize that as a modern software company there is a need to remain flexible and be understanding of our employee's personal commitments. This is why we continue to explore ways to implement practices that allow employees to comfortably tend to both personal and professional responsibilities.
