Pros

Healthy Cash Flow and good IT team.

Cons

The executive team talks poorly behind each others backs. As noted by all others, all decisions come from the top. The company is a renewals company. Don't let them try to spin it any other way. The strategy here is don't do anything different. If we want something new be sure it fits in this exact same box that we operate in. There is a lack of integrity in the CFO seat who does not play by the same rules he expects the rest of the executive team to play by. Multiple teams have turned over >100% due to this position. Negotiate what you want going in. Don't expect a quality raise or promotion.

Pros

Make sure you negotiate a good salary from the beginning as raises and promotions come slowly, if they ever come at all. Benefits seem to be on par with other tech firms. Location and office conditions are good.

Cons

The definition of micro management. An environment of FEAR. No strategy, all execution, detail over substance. ALL decisions come from the top, and this combined with FEAR culture kills innovation and slows everything to a crawl.

Terrible company, great people

Pros

-Good benefits -Good coworkers and managers up to & including the VP level -Competitive starting salary for new employees -Products are market leaders and company will continue to do well.

Cons

-Raises and promotions are almost non-existent. -Nothing is done by the executive team to retain valuable employees. Even the brightest people are treated like commodities, regardless of their contributions to the company. -The turnover rate in most departments, and at every job level, is ridiculous by any standards. Those who stay more than a year are either looking for new jobs or feel prohibited from leaving by their outside responsibilities. -The constant turnover makes progress impossible, with all time being consumed either by covering others' jobs or training new hires. -Executives are in a constant battle to be more powerful than each other, to the detriment of everyone beneath them. They preach collaboration while fighting to keep each other down, managing to get in the way of progress and even day-to-day operations.
