Pros

This company has some wonderful, nice, hardworking people. They are the ones who make working at AspenTech tolerable. Surprisingly, their benefits package is quite competitive.

Cons

There is little or no chance for advancement or any kind of career growth. Once you are in a position, you are pretty much pigeon-holed. Communication from management is extremely poor, and they consistently choose to handle issues incorrectly; whether it's with customers or their own employees. If you don't have to work here, don't! Do yourself a favor and wait until you get an offer from a good company. The only thing you'll miss out on is having your spirit broken for you.

Cons

No company culture appart from shameless tirany and fear coming from the top down Close to non-existing (micro) Management due to ingorance of the industry and European markets No respect from the top down Promotions are political instead of based on true recognition Probably more managers, directors, and above all useless VPs than in any other company Blaming policy

Controlling and blaming environment No company culture at all except fear Brutaly imposed constant reorganisation This all sends a wrong image to our Customers, pity...
