-Diverse environment, generally you team members are nice good people -Good amount of time off

Cons

- ZERO potential for advancement - Constant reminders of being perfectly replaceable - Environment of animosity and paranoia - No incetives for employees - HR is BEYOND company focused, any concerns fall on deaf ears - Inflexible, work from home is strictly prohibited, Only exception is a State of Emergency. - Too many managers, directors and executives, no room for promotions - Clear favoratism within groups - Building is in Burlington - the sad, grey suburbs with only chain restaraunts and strip malls as far as the eye can see.

Pros

This company has some wonderful, nice, hardworking people. They are the ones who make working at AspenTech tolerable. Surprisingly, their benefits package is quite competitive.

Cons

There is little or no chance for advancement or any kind of career growth. Once you are in a position, you are pretty much pigeon-holed. Communication from management is extremely poor, and they consistently choose to handle issues incorrectly; whether it's with customers or their own employees. If you don't have to work here, don't! Do yourself a favor and wait until you get an offer from a good company. The only thing you'll miss out on is having your spirit broken for you.
