      It is a great place to coast to retirement.

      Pros

      The pay is better than average for the level of work. If you are looking to get paid and not to grow your career and you are just looking to coast into retirement, then this is the place for you.

      Cons

      Not much opportunity for career growth in the IS/IT departments. Do not expect to add any new skills to your portfolio. Also bring hand sanitizer as a lot of male employees (incl.the head of R&D) do not was their hands after using the loo.

      Pros

      There are some extremely talented individuals working for Aspen. The product sells itself. Very laid back atmosphere besides quarter end (its sales)

      Cons

      too many layers, change comes slow, salary could be more competitive as you move up which causes many to seek more lucrative opportunities. They could save a lot of time and money if they compensated tenured employees more. Marketing is a mess, does a poor job of communicating value of the products to customers over the website.

      Pros

      The benefit package was pretty good compared to same level companies. Starting salaries for some what experienced employees comparable to others

      Cons

      Poor management in middle & upper areas. Should be listed in the dictionary as an example for micromanaged. Some managers create hostile work environments within their own groups by pitting employees against each other. You are "on call" 24/7 if in a production department, it is a demand not a choice. Work into AM hours at end of quarters as necessary (which was at least 2 out of 4). Raises and bonuses poor
