Pros

You never know what good this food distributor and grocery store is doing, but they're always working hard to make people's lives better. They aren't bragging about it though.

Cons

Employee reviews and raises were few and too far between. Employees generally felt undervalued by management. Sometimes it wasn't clear what management wanted or what the end game was.

Associated Food Stores is a great place to work at. It is a family and friends atmosphere. I enjoy going to work every day.

Cons

Associated Food Stores is a retailer owned cooperate. Because of this technology is focused primarily on retail. Business Intelligence is 10 years behind. Also pay is on the lower side.

Pros

Might be able to work 1 or 2 days a week at home. 4 Day work weeks available if ok by supervisor.

Cons

Management week and slow to respond unless it can make them look good. Nothing is private. If you take a problem about your boss to HR the next thing you know you are in a room with your boss confronting you .which only makes things worse. Open door policy is a saying not a doing.
