Loving this review and the thoughts herein -- we've hired from within recently in several places across the company. Truly a rewarding experience to see great work by great Associates as they expand into new departments to help us grow!

Pros

Work from home Is nice.

Cons

Little direction. Terrible management. Management is fake, don’t think they really care they don’t. This company had talk all through the office about the fake reviews they post on different job opportunity websites. If we had to say “we are Assurance America” one more time I would have thrown up on camera. Claim files are a disaster to read, lack of training, lack of templates or macros… not one adjuster or manager is on the same page. Instead of free lunches, commiserate pay would be better for the amount of files the claims department has to handle a day… a lot of overtime not paid due to “salaried work.” Even though the contract states hours of work/business time. I think the company will be shut down soon or that’s how it looks.

Pros

the benefits and annual/quarterly bonuses are cool.

Cons

nepotism is strong with this company. will randomly introduce people with positions never posted and in someway related to the higher up's. they tell everyone that they promote from within but only hire from the outside. was waiting years for a promotion that never came. worked harder than anyone else and was severely underpaid compared to others bc of "lack of experience"
