Pros

Company focuses on work-life balance. Flexible hybrid-remote work, flexible hours. Great people.

Cons

Ballard Technology business unit being swallowed up by AES affiliate. Multiple teams moved down to Kirkland/Redmond, and Everett facility condensed into 1/5 the space. Compensation is lower than market, though they are taking some steps to try to correct that.

Pros

Good work life balance and strong sense of boundaries between work hours and personal hours by newer managers. Slightly offset by older team members being numb to working outrageous hours due to poor prior staffing.

Cons

Talked all about how great the bonus structure was. Never recieved one and iddnt recieve any indication that one would be coming to anyone in the company anytime soon and was not given the impression that i could renegotiate my pay to bring it up to market in light of missing out on functionally 15K of my implied pay at time of hiring. Plus the job i ended up doing and the job i was hired to do were completely different.
