      Good benefits but poor upper management

      Good discount, health package, I had a great DM

      Cons

      The company runs on “fire drills”. Things that trickle down to the stores seem ill thought out. Moving things just to move them again the next week. I wanted to be a lifer. The last conference I went to was disorganized with workshops being ran by people in position for days not years. Right after bankruptcy ensued. Athome used to feel like a family. Solid regional and DM level. No trust in anything higher. During resets or large transitions zero work/life balance. Difficult getting proper ASM candidates in certain markets.

      Pros

      Office space and location - new build in an area central to DFW. Many employees are delightful to work with on a daily basis. Employee discount on such a broad product offering was great.

      Cons

      Toxic leadership. Senior management at the time were aware of issues, but did nothing to address them despite numerous complaints to HR.

      Pros

      Employee Discount is great and the products are generally good quality.

      Cons

      Literally everything that comes down from corporate. They are totally incompetent and are driving this company into the ground. After two bankruptcies, they still haven't learned one single thing about running a business.
