Pros

The 25% employee discount. There is annual holiday party and you get to see people that you normally don’t see.

Cons

Never having enough people. The pay doesn’t reflect the amount of work done. People constantly call in and rarely get their shift covered.

Pros

- Great opportunity for advancement if you are into the same stuff as your supervisor and their boss. - Great company culture that people buy into. Lots of fun activities and always something going on thats fun to be a part of. - Sample sales are great. Great way to support charity and pick up some stuff for holidays and gifts. - The company really values their employees and it's got a great "family" attitude. - Put in your time and you'll be rewarded. Lots of opportunities to help other departments (at least in IT) and other departments are quick to compliment you about how you help them (just hope your supervisor hears about it). - Great work life balance.

Cons

- No leadership qualities in the IT group. - Leadership in IT doesn't grasp the big picture, and is willing to cut of their nose to spite their face. Why leave certain departments understaffed? - Constantly changing expectations with no real guide as to how to do your job. You are told something from your supervisor one week on how to do something, and then the next week your supervisor or their boss comes back and tells you that it has changed (sometimes between the supervisor and their boss it still conflicts). Nobody is on the same page. When you ask your supervisor or boss how to do things it's something completely different from what you heard from the other department to find out how they want a certain task that affects them. - Always told about when you are doing things wrong, but when you go above and beyond its just "expected". - No investment into certain employees. Certain employees within the different departments are just meant to "tow the line" and keep on top of things to cover their bosses, while others (whomever sucks up to the boss the most and goes out to lunch with the "cool kids gang") are moved and promoted and advanced into other departments, leaving others behind to pick up the pieces.
