Pros

I worked with some good people and we all created a family environment. I stayed super active so I got my workout in every shift. Being able to set visuals and be creative as fun. Seeing all the new product come in and the discount was good as well.

Cons

The store managers and District Manager needed some training on how to professionally lead a team and show appreciation. There was no organized training for management/ leadership. A two week, structured training agenda, and more resources would help. The workload was very physical and exhausting, and I’m in good shape. They overly tasked, with little staff, and they didn’t care, and it was just not realistic expectations. The pay was not the best for the workload.

Pros

It's hard to think of any positives other than the fact that there were some very nice people working there being horrifically exploited.

Cons

Very dishonest and unethical people starting at the top and trickling down to the first few levels of upper management. People were more concerned with hiring their incompetent friends paying and them way more than what they are worth. This turned them into stuck zombies loyal to the scum that hired them. Look at the number of CFO's that have cycled through the company and the number of execs in HR that have transitioned. If you are one of the long haulers in upper management, look in the mirror because you are the problem. I'm sure it's even worse these days now that they are private.
