Great work environment Uplifting and supportive culture Supports you and provides growth opportunities Great place to start a career. If you work hard - the opportunities are endless! Company appreciates employees and shows their gratitude for your work Company will actually give you credit for your ideas and initiatives Fosters a Customer Centered retail environment, which is HUGE! (It's hard to find stores that truly appreciate their customers, Athleta DOES!)

Pros

Colleagues a pleasure to work with. The brand message of empowering women and girls, encouraging them to live a healthy lifestyle is great, this however needs to be implemented into the internal work environment.

Cons

Unprofessional management. Management impolite, demanding and offers inadequate support to staff, even in early learning phases. Furthermore equipment and working environment to carry out the role is below standard.

Pros

great employee discount, nice sales associate coworkers

Cons

high turn-over rate with employees who quit due to anxiety over the micro-managing style of all managers (no one lasted more than 6 months at a time), inconsiderate demands on overworked staff, management cares more about the sales and opening credit cards than the individual employee, a lot of manager drama, invasive selling techniques focused on interrogating the costumer with "psychodynamic questions", a commission-like sales mentality pushed onto the sales associates (despite making absolutely no commission), a company culture that promotes female empowerment and values (yet fails to reflect such while handling employees), and inconsiderate scheduling that's based on the number off the number of credit cards you open
