Pros

Amazing culture, amazing people, great pay and discount. Felt supported by the DM most of the time.

Cons

They pile it on and on, with pressure to pull traffic out of thin air. Could be running the highest conversion and all other metrics but if you're not seeing enough footsteps you won't make enough money. There's only so much you can do to drive traffic in the middle of a PANDEMIC.

Pros

Employee discount is 50% off; get to wear workout clothes everyday! They practice consistent COVID-19 safety protocols.

Cons

My experience working at this store has NOT been what I thought I signed up for. I envisioned working at Athleta to be an inclusive sisterhood where diversity would be embraced/encouraged; instead this particular group of women are toxic, two-faced, gossipy and generally unhappy and fake! If you’re a high performer, brace yourself for the large target painted on your back! This team formed several cliques; the main clique which is 3 associates basically run the store and if they don’t like you for whatever reason, be prepared to be harassed and victim to their constant lies and petty garbage drama.

Pros

People are great to work with. Great views of the SF Bay. Generous employee discounts.

Cons

Management has a lack of leadership as they prefer to manage up than trying to manage down. Lack strong communication and feedback from managers makes it difficult to go about your role. If you are new to Gap Inc., they don't provide proper Athleta training to set you up for success. There is a lack of support that didn't feel genuine as they were into themselves rather than building a team.

It is important for us to invest in our employees’ future, not just at the company, but long-term regardless of where their career takes them. We appreciate the feedback regarding management. We are fully committed to our employees’ development across our organization.
