Rather than investing in the employees, Athletico spends their money on advertising contracts with large organizations in the hopes that they can manipulate patients into thinking they're getting professional levels of care when in fact the company treats patients like a revolving door, get the patients in, charge as much as you can, get them out.

Athletico merged with another large company, Accelerated, and was recently purchased by an investor so management is becoming more impersonal and benefits such as continuing ed have been cut. My regional manager was impersonal, uninvolved at the clinic level, and had no interest in listening to therapists needs/goals. There is a lack of appreciation for employees and no chance to move up the ladder from staff PT unless you are interested in management. Expectation to double book, work Saturdays and meet rigid patients per week and cancellation rate goals.
