Pros

Work - Life balance is enhanced by working from home. Excellent technical staff that hangs around because they do not know what's coming.

Cons

Senior leadership in the US has been replaced by people from France. Management is actively trying to get rid of all employees in the US in favor of off-shore locations. There are a couple of well placed senior managers who's sole job is to do just that. When that does not work out, they are looking at bringing in resources on H-1B visa's, quietly. They will do anything to not back fill US workers with other US workers. Benefits have been changed for the worse over the last several years, mostly not being announced. Severance, paid time off, bonus payout, 401k match.. all changed. Most recently, they intentionally pushed out bonus payouts and reduced severance from 2 weeks per year to 1 week, then fired dozens of people before the bonus payout. These people were no longer eligible and given no notice of their pending termination. The US still operates as if the company is based out of Germany in many cases, and rarely includes remaining technical and management staff in any decision making, which will impact the US and its customers. Atos has been on a buying spree of late, venturing into companies that are product based versus service based. It appears that is the only way Atos can grow it's revenue.

Pros

Great people to work with and ok good benefits.

Cons

Spin off our Desktop Support to NSCGLOBAL was told it was a lift and a shift, more like a "hook and a crook scam from ATOS." To cut jobs new company pay's no severance pay was let go three months latter.

Pros

Work from home is the norm. PTO is good, but be careful of taking it - if you take a normal 2-week vacation like at other companies, don't be surprised if you make the next RIFF list.

Cons

Being treated like cattle and the crazy escalation-centric nature of the company to get anything done. Do you like furloughs? Do you like "donating" PTO days so that the US CEO can make his numbers? (which are dubious - they will claim "we're losing money" when they only achieved 6.5% of their 7% target which is still profitable). Do you like absurd health care costs that wipe out the pitiful salary increases that you may or may not get because the company has decided to suspend due to (crisis of the moment)? Do you like an old school Napoleonic management structure where your are told to take actions that are not in the best interest of the company or your client, just because the exec thinks he is right? Do you enjoy a toxic management culture where costs force you to fight other departments that are sabotaging your account and you must escalate several times over months to get it fixed? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Atos US is right for you. The salt in the wound is that Atos US will ask you to make all kinds of crazy personal and financial sacrifices "for the good of the company so we can hit our targets in H1/H2", they promise to reward, but then go acquire another bottom feeding IT company and say "oops, sorry, we don't have the $$$ to make you whole. But please welcome our new 'Whiz Bang Company X' colleagues."
