      H1B Sweatshop

      Pros

      It's a job, basically a good way to start in the US if you are from India, others need to stay clear.

      Cons

      Sweatshop environment with all the poor brown folk continuing be subservient to management and usually talk in their native language. Many of them are just waiting for a green card application to escape from this servitude. Low caliber management No ethics whatsoever Not good for non Indians

      Pros

      Its better than being unemployed or working at Mcdonalds

      Cons

      Take the bottom of market range and subtract 20%, and that's what you'll get offered. In 2017 still offering 13 days Sick/Personal/Vacation, and even that has to be accrued. Healthcare costs are very high and benefits nebulous

      * Good Onsite opportunity * Good infrastructure * Good onsite healthcare insurance plan (esp. for maternity)

      Cons

      * Your growth depends on how well you polish your managers * You need to sign a Rs. 5 lakh bond if you want to travel onsite. This was 2.5 lakh initially but now increased after the new H1B fee revision came in. They verbally say we are spending a lot on you and your visa. But they are making 10 times of that amount after sending you onsite by paying you the bare minimum wage in US(However last year they increased a bit and now the min wage given is 61k per annum). * If you resign from the company, they won't give you the relieving letters without paying 5 lakhs(Around $8000) back to them which will spoil all your dreams.
