Individual team members can be great to work with

Cons

-Toxic, terrible management that likes to play favorites and is enabled to do so -Upper management is so disconnected they have zero idea of the work that goes into running a building (and sometimes your GM will be clueless too) which leads to very difficult and heavy work loads - moreso then other retirement company's -HR that takes no meaningful action, but throws you under the bus and flips things on you -very low budget, everything run as slim as possible to line pockets up top to a repulsive degree -veey poor treatment of staff and residents

Pros

-Hours are great. The latest you are there is 8pm. -benefits are a huge plus for the culinary industry -RRSP matching up to 5% of paycheque

Cons

-food budget is minimal so creativity is a must -labor budget is there but the shift pool requires you to have a skeleton crew -cooking for seniors is not for everyone
