Pros
Large company with tons of resources. Did my clinical rotation for nursing school at CMC Main and liked it for the most part.
Cons
As with most nursing units there will always be "clicks". Downside to this company is that when I was enrolled in their nursing school (before I switched and graduated from another local school) they kicked me out and put me down as a "no rehire" because I informed my professors that I wanted to attend my grandmothers funeral. I grew up in a large tight knight family and have strong family values. It's horrible that taking 1-3 days off (my family is on the west coast) for a death of a close family member would bar me for life of any opportunities at this corporation. The nursing instructors were incredibly rude and disrespectful.
