Pros

You have to the opportunity to work PRN, if you are in school

Cons

When you want to take a day off work, you have to find someone to replace you. If you can’t find anyone then you still are responsible for your shift.

Pros

I get to make my own schedule so I work as much or as little as I want

Cons

Don’t expect them to care about what you have going on outside of work. Your mother can be on her death bed, if you don’t find coverage for your shift you’re getting written up. I’ve had Covid! And they told me not to come to work! But it was still my responsibility to find my own coverage.
