      Pros

      I worked in the ER at CMC Pineville. It's a great place to work when you are full-time because you get pretty good benefits, including health insurance and on sight care. They also offer night and weekend pay, which will help boost your salary.

      Cons

      They try to push you into a position that doesn't have benefits, so definitely apply to ones that allow you to get them. BUT if you're just trying to get your foot in the door, they love to hire within, so you can move up. I think that other hospital locations offer better pay, but it's a good place to get experience in the healthcare industry.

      Involvement of management, patient variance, I get to see all kinds of oncologic patients with research based treatments.

      Cons

      Due to the size of the company you can feel you are lost in the shuffle.
