Pros

You can work as much as you want until they don't want you.

Cons

What you have done for them to help them grow means nothing. Time and dedication means nothing to them. They constantly surge ahead with business plans with little or no contemplation at all, and then employees are left jobless when they realize that their plans were not sustainable in the first place. Communication between levels is very poor. At times I can remember being instructed to never even speak to the CEO, no mater what.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We do value your contribution and are glad that you have stayed with us these past 8 years. You’re right: there was a period where we probably grew too fast and didn’t have the right structure or strategies in place to manage that growth. We learned a lot from that time and believe that we’ve made a lot of progress since then. I hope you’ll attend our next All-Hands meeting where we’ll update you on our 2014 performance, and share our plans for 2015 and beyond. I think you’ll see that we’re on the right path and we’re making sure to communicate our strategies and initiatives along the way, and to recognize great teamwork as we move forward. I hope you continue to stay with us and give us a chance to demonstrate that we do value you. I’m not sure who told you to not talk to me, but that’s just silly. I enjoy talking to our Auction.com employees. If there’s something you’d like to discuss, please do come say hello and talk to me. I promise, I don’t bite ;-) Thanks, Jeff Frieden, CEO & Co-Founder

Pros

Good benefits and bonuses

Cons

lack of leadership and promotions within the company. the pay you start out with is most likely the pay you'll earn in the next few years, even though your skill set and work load increases

Pros

Pay is decent Benefits are also pretty good. You will make good work friends for sure.

Cons

Working at this company is an exercise in frustration and disillusionment. The CEO’s behavior is far more erratic and unprofessional than that of a petulant child, and the few individuals who support him generally do not have direct interactions with him. The extended leadership team is equally lacking in qualifications, consisting mainly of individuals who appear unsuited for their roles. The company operates at a “decent” level only when things are running smoothly, but the moment any issue arises, particularly one caused by the company’s own negligence, the facade crumbles. Instead of addressing problems responsibly, they deflect blame, gaslight employees, and make individuals feel like the villains for attempting to seek resolution. Human Resources (HR) is in complete disarray, having experienced nearly 100% turnover in a short period. Even without layoffs, employees are leaving in droves, seeking opportunities elsewhere in the region. The high attrition rate serves as a stark testament to the toxic work environment and mismanagement at every level. If you are considering joining or working with this company, be prepared for a leadership culture that prioritizes ego over accountability and fails to foster a stable and supportive workplace.
