Frustrating

Pros

Some nice co- workers. Some good food and a decent Christmas party

Cons

Executive level management is a joke. So out of touch with the employees. Does not matter how much work you do here, nothing is appreciated. Don't work here unless you can handle being cursed at and treated poorly everyday, or unless you are a male because female employees who do the same work are paid far less. Everyone is always stressed out and worried about getting fired unless you have certain friends here. Nothing ever works and the most outdated software available. ZERO chance of a promotion but you will constantly help management do their job. Oh and NEVER go to HR they will not help you and chances are, when management finds out you will be in trouble

Depressing on so many levels

Pros

Benefits are good. Pay is fair. People are nice, but there is very little joy on the faces of the employees as you walk around - at least at the corporate office.

Cons

The list doesn't end. Think of one of your worst scenarios and you are heading in the right direction. In this environment, you will quickly feel ineffective, apathetic, frustrated, and on a ship with a very unclear course. If you get an offer from them - don't jump on it. Chances are you'll find something better and it's worth the wait.

Pros

* Good pay * Talented junior executives (Sr. Director and below) * Flexible work hours * Google investment (they don't care about the Residential business.. they are interested only in commercial real estate)

Cons

Revolving door. There have been more than 10 Senior level exists (C-Level, EVP, SVP and VP) over the last year. Two Chief Legal Officers, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief HR Officer, Chief Operations Officer, at least 4 EVP's, more than 5 SVP's and innumerable VP's have left (mostly) or let go. The company has a interesting business model. However, it is not like the business model cannot be replicated. The only thing going for them is that they are the first entrant to this field (online mortgage sales). Client base is eroding. They are heavily focused on Default asset disposition and with the volume of distressed assets winding down, they don't have a long term focus on non-distressed real estate.
