Pros

Close nit community, Expansion in progress. GRU is becoming bigger and better everyday. Important scientific discoveries are coming out of GRU.

Cons

Upper Management needs to take good care of researchers. Very high profile researchers have left and the trend might continue if management doesnt give equal importance to researchers too.

Pros

Opportunity to see a lot of pathology and abnormal cases. Many of the doctors are friendly. Willing to hire new graduates. No vesting period for retirement account.

Cons

High stress, low pay, poor parking situation, low employee morale. Constant student instruction from high school, undergrad, medical school, and resident training- can be exhausting at times. 30 minute lunches you have to clock in and out for. If you are one minute late clocking back in your hours will be short. Large crowds of family members are able to come in for patient exams. Mentally taxing.

Pros

Pay is better than other area hospitals...but even that is not enough to make up for incorrigible management staff.

Cons

Management...from the CEO down. I don't believe that all management have always been this bad. Everyone seems to be desperate to keep their positions at this point, so they throw their employees under the bus whenever necessary.
