Cons
The lies started when their CEO promised that everyone would get an interview for the "new company" and then get to decide whether or not to be a W-2 employee or a contractor (the catch being if they liked you as well). My interview was 10 minutes. A lot of people were never interviewed. The ones who got offers were only given the option of being contractors, which means they have to pay their own payroll taxes and benefits. Is this even legal? People are doing the same job but no longer have the protections or benefits of being an employee. They kept only a few people and offshored all the rest of the work without really any knowledge transfer. What a mess.
