Pros

I saw a lot of pros at Authentic Brands Group - the pros were all for relatives of Jamie Salter, relatives of people who married into Jamie Salter's family, and children of Jamie Salter's friends. (Jamie Salter is the immoral CEO of ABG)

Cons

I never saw a Black or Hispanic person in the C-Suite at Authentic Brands Group. That always troubled me. The executives of ABG lack morals and ethics. I saw a bunch of White executives who seem to like screwing people in order to fatten up their bank accounts.

Pros

- Those who I did work with on a regular basis were wonderful people and I learned a lot from them

Cons

- Higher-ups do not care about professional growth for entry-level employees - Felt blindsided and misled during layoffs due to covid19 - Hiring process is absolutely horrible... It took 2 months from initial phone interview to receiving an offer letter - My direct report changed 3 times because there was internal "restructuring" - Toxic environment - Not paid enough in comparison to workload

Pros

There are some talented people here. I enjoy the interactions I have with some of the hardworking partners throughout the organization.

Cons

The environment is toxic and it brews from the CEO and the leadership team. There is no work/life balance. You must be available whenever they need you. They recently took away hybrid working opportunities despite the business doing well (and despite people like myself who joined after being lured in under the guise of a hybrid working environment). There is no diversity and the environment favors white men. Nepotism runs wild… I have never seen anything like it. Different standards for family and friends. There is a culture of bullying. I didn’t want to believe the reviews but honestly after giving this place the “benefit of the doubt” I will admit that I was wrong. They do not seem to care for their employees.
