Pros

Pay was decent pre covid

Cons

there's a 10 year track record of nepotism I saw on here before I took this job. It's still very present. Constant threats of losing job from inexperienced and unqualified managers who are either related to owner or friends of owner. Extreme lies to entire company around COVID. Cut nearly 60% of head count after telling entire company that the company was stable and in good financial shape- cut everyone else's salaries. Bizarre policy of 100% attendance required in AUGUST of 2020 when city was barely open. Not even sure if that was legal. Severe lack of training / onboarding. Extreme lack of professional decorum. The average lifespan at this job is just over 1 year according to LinkedIn- and the company has been around for 10 years. Boiler room mentality in every department- but its all risk and no reward (like good boiler rooms have) None of the glassdoor reviews of this place have changed over 10 years. If you think you're going to change this place- or its getting better- its not. If these are not red flags of how bad this place is, I don't know what is.

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback on your experience working with us. I want to address a few of your points directly. COVID-19 has been and continues to be a challenge for ABG as it has for all businesses. Our decision to implement a layoff/furlough/salary reduction program was a difficult one that impacted our people and their lives. We took several steps to support our team members during this time, including: -Covering 100% of the healthcare costs for furloughed employees and their families; -Establishing a tax-free program allowing active and furloughed employees to apply for cash grants anonymously -Reinstating full salaries in the autumn -Processing make-whole payments to all active employees in the amount of pay lost during the salary reduction program As you mention above, ABG did reopen the office in August. We allowed all members of our team to return gradually over August and September. We've supported our parents with flexible work arrangements in the wake of hybrid learning and school closures. We have worked one-on-one with every employee requiring an accommodation due to their own personal health condition. We also implemented a tightly-managed safety program to protect our employees' well-being while in the office per guidelines issued by city and state authorities. We are disappointed to learn that you did not enjoy your experience working with us and take your feedback seriously. Again, we thank you for providing your feedback and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Twilight zone.

Pros

None. Everyone except for the CEO's family is underpaid, overworked, and treated like livestock.

Cons

- They're making us come into the office 5x/week during a pandemic, for no reason other than the CEO is bored at home. - No protective measures are in place. They are not paying for transportation to/from the office, and all employees are doing this on cut salaries. - Women should not work here. Under appreciated, under paid, overworked, and objectified in my experience. - nepotism is the best way to get promoted - even Sr managers and VP's are afraid of the wrath of the CEO. No one stands up to him because he purposefully instills fear of job stability. - "HR" at this company is non-existent, and when it shows up, its to carry out the bidding of the CEO. "HR" knows that employees are depressed and scared, and being put in physical harm's way, and still, "HR" stands by and enables it. - some one needs to expose this place for hostile/unethical workplace that it is.
