Pros

Company used to be known as Children's Learning Connection and now is part of Autism Learning Partners. Management tries to support, they do have trainings which help DSP's and company is good about listening to their employee's. Company tries, management tries, everyone is trying. Good heart behind company culture.

Cons

PAY, PAY and PAY! DSP's only get paid $10 per hour for trainings and not their full pay, why dock pay by $5.00 for training? Isn't our time valuable as well? If my hourly rate is $15.00 and I am having to drive to your branch office for training and don't receive mileage reimbursement because it is not 22 miles exactly, and only getting $10.00 per hour for training, after driving and miles it equates to about $6.00 an hour after the fact. It would also be great to have for more support when you begin your first week of sessions with the kid's we serve, to have someone be there at least on 1'st session. Management seems over worked and stressed, but they try. Please consider having funding for toy's, games, etc. for sessions. I know I spent at least $40.00 of my own money for sessions. Overall the company has good intentions, but DSP's need more support, more tools/toy's to use in session and better pay.

Pros

Autism Learning Partner (formally Pacific Child & Family Associates) provides ABA services to families across several states. I'm also receiving a gift card to fill out this review! Big pro!

Cons

This company has rebranded itself as Autism Learning Partners to try to escape its awful reviews from its original name, Pacific Child & Family Associates. I've never worked for an ABA company that has the most unethical practices. I do not recommend this company to behavior therapists or BCBAs. BCBAs: look at your code of ethics - they come first and foremost! Unfortunately a bad company is a bad company and no matter the amount of Starbucks cards or flashy e-mails that we have turned a new leaf is going to change that. The new clinical management does not care about the DSPs or supervisors. Punishment and disciplinary action is at an all-time high. This is an ABA company. Do they not know that you should use punishment as a last resort? I can speak for many of my co-workers, we miss everyone who left and the previous person in charge of the office.

Pros

I have been working since Feb 2016, it's flexible to my schedule. Even though it's part time I can still bring home a decent pay check. Working with children make its a fulfilling experience.

Cons

Wish it was a full time job.
