Pros
There is a lot of freedom given to employees, especially in the sales arena. If they are performing there is minimal interference from management and generally you are left alone. Some perks available like company car and base salary.
Cons
Objectives are very difficult to meet and this paired with high turnover can make it difficult to succeed. Although, the company claims to have the latest in ware washing technology, they are very slow to adapt in house technology. Database systems are a mess and not linked in with each other and drivers and sales reps have no access from the field. The franchise program benefits long term employees and seriously hampers newer sales people. You end up splitting a lot of commissions with already established reps in other areas, very demotivating.
