Pros

Great place to put on your resume. Unless you’re in IT as that’s run by marketing.

Cons

CMO is unhinged and has been for years. Favoritism and nepotism are everywhere. Under qualified people promoted. HR entirely unhelpful. No remote work.

Decent Benefits But the Road Stops There

Pros

Bonuses if company is doing well. Gym at corporate.

Cons

-Marketing CMO doesn’t believe in working remotely -Nepotism, rampant favoritism -If you are not in good graces with the CMO, you will never advance. -Inappropriate Emails being sent on company time that have nothing to with work. -Insane amount of money spent on T-Shirts that are pointless -$10/paycheck to be allowed to park in the parking garage

I genuinely have nothing positive to say for working at AutoNation.

Cons

They don’t value their employees at all. I’ve never been so disrespected by management and HR at any other company. The culture in this company is that employees are completely disposable and they should know that they are nothing more than a number or legal liability.
