Pros

Great work life balance. Never have any push back on taking care of life needs, requested vacation always gets approved, can even take extended vacations if planned accordingly. Everyone is great to work with, cordial and understand the goals we are trying to accomplish. I've had a great experience working alongside coworkers, pushing ourselves to grow and change healthcare as best we can. A lot of tenured employees that shows its a great place to work for a long period of time. CEO is awesome as well as the senior leadership team.

Cons

Moving to a 40% U.S. workforce and 60% india based workforce. Clearly following a classic U.S. based tech company route of trying to save money by cutting U.S. jobs. I don't think this will be successful. Seems like senior leadership in Product turns over every 4-5 years then the cycle restarts for how we build products.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for highlighting our teammates, leadership, and work-life balance. We’re proud to be a flexible, remote-first company with generous time off, because we want people to be at their best at work and at home. At Availity, we truly believe in being one global team. Our expansion in India isn’t about cost—it’s about tapping into a larger talent pool, enabling 24/7 support, and accelerating innovation for our customers. The Bengaluru Global Capability Center is designed to foster collaboration and deliver round-the-clock solutions, not to create an “us vs. them” environment. Every associate, regardless of location, is held to the same high standards and works toward shared outcomes. We’re proud to be a flexible, remote-first company that prioritizes work-life balance and offers generous time off. Our leadership is committed to maintaining continuity and focus, as seen in our multi-year platform consolidation program. This initiative is streamlining our core services, unifying user experiences, and helping teams deliver improvements faster and more securely. Data protection is absolutely non-negotiable for us. Availity maintains HITRUST certification, SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA compliance, and is a CORE-certified clearinghouse. We use FIPS-validated encryption, operate under formal privacy and security policies, and undergo independent annual audits. Safeguarding PHI/PII is foundational to how we build and run our products. We value feedback from associates—whether shared publicly or through internal channels—because it helps us improve. If you have suggestions on platform alignment or collaboration, we encourage you to share specifics. Our mission is to make healthcare work better for everyone, and we appreciate everyone’s commitment to that goal.
