We agree that we work with some of the best and brightest in the industry. And even being fully remote during the pandemic, the “environment,” or culture as we refer to it, is thriving at our organization. Recent associate feedback qualified us as a Great Places to Work Certified™ company. Your cons of working at Availity are a little vague, but we can confidently say that we use several cutting-edge technologies to create, support, protect, and sustain one of the largest health information networks serving the U.S. healthcare system. For nearly 20 years, we have facilitated the digital transformation of the healthcare business, making daily enhancements to keep up with the rapid pace of innovation in our industry. The work here is challenging and complicated—much like the industry we serve. But the rewards at Availity run deep. From friendly and talented colleagues to philanthropic and charitable initiatives supporting our communities. Not to mention the Benefits that include 401K matching, wellness reimbursements, unlimited PTO, and more! Again, thank you for your review.

Yes, yes, and yes! With a practically new headquarters (just two years old) located in the heart of Jacksonville’s Southside neighborhood, we love where we work. And we cannot wait to get back to the office after being fully remote for the past year. But being remote hasn’t slowed us down or hurt our culture. Availity’s culture has thrived during the pandemic thanks to several internal communications, human resources, and leadership efforts. One such effort includes recent enhancements to our benefits program, which you also reference in your review (thanks for that)! You’re right; we encourage career development at Availity—and there are so many opportunities for professional growth while you’re here. On the topic of compensation, All Availity positions are evaluated regularly and assigned a market reference point (MRP). MRPs are a global standard in comparing and analyzing compensation. From there, our hiring managers will consider skill level, experience, performance and other factors. Often, our hiring managers work with their HR business partners to make sure salaries are competitive against the ‘Market’ or MRP. And be sure not to confuse pay with total rewards, or you may be underestimating overall value—benefits, unlimited PTO, a more favorable 401k match than many companies, wellness reimbursement, and more! Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review. We wish you much luck and success in your future endeavors.

Pros

The more I learn about this company, the more I feel lucky to be employed here. I greatly appreciate my team and supervisor. The culture is excellent and Availity cares deeply for their associates.

Cons

The team is geographically spread out. It can be more challenging to get to know some associates without the face to face interactions I am accustomed to in my previous role.

WOW! This is everything we love to hear and more. We are so glad you’ve joined the Availity team and are having a positive experience. While we do try to make the most of our virtual environment, we can’t wait for you to meet everyone in person! We’ve invested in tools and technology to support safe and effective collaboration remotely and are proud to say that we haven’t missed a beat. Our associates' well-being is of the utmost importance, and we will continue to invest in these areas. Wellness is part of our culture, and there are many programs in place to make sure that all of our associates have the resources they need to stay healthy—mentally and physically. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review.
