Pros

good work hours but that's it

Cons

Toxic company and would never recommend. 1. Promote people who does less work than others. 2. Deceptive, I have a person thinking they are 'family' but in reality, your best chances are being fired, written up or not fairly credited. 3. Not everyone is held to the same standards. 4. Excellent workers has been treated unfairly, lost positionsome because of merger and gave position to the other company. 5. Good work doesn't take precedence over a mistake. 6. Some people can make multiple mistakes and still employed, while others are handled harshly. This company makes me sick. I have never heard of prior employees with good comments about Availity. The positive post are most likely someone who is currently working there trying to make people think this is a great company. You're better off somewhere else. Just pure toxic

At every company people have different points of view on how hard others work or the level of contribution made. We charge our managers to set high expectations for individual goals and train them on performance management. It is unfortunate that your experience with Availity left you with this impression. We value our talented employees and our culture of collaboration and innovation. A company’s culture is not something that happens to you, but something you shape; we own it together. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Thanks for calling out our commitment to providing a great work/life balance! We take pride in the ways we support employees living full and healthy lives. We do, however, believe that professional development the responsibility of each individual. We offer a variety of channels for developing yourself through technical training on Pluralsight, internal interpersonal skills training, career development tools and seminars, conferences and our Lunch & Learn program that debuted in 2016. Moreover, we have modified our mid-year performance management process to emphasize coaching conversations so that both managers and their team members provide feedback for growth and development. If you have suggestions for ways to improve these programs, please reach out to us at AvailityHR@availity.com.

High growth, good for self-starters

Pros

I had the opportunity to work with the company when they were going through a significant growth surge. There was no shortage of interesting work, and the leadership was effective in setting direction to move the company forward.

Cons

As with most growth surges, competing for resources could be challenging and the elements of true team work were diluted by the desire to meet department-specific goals.
