Pros

Great training, health benefits and salary.

Cons

Unfortunately not very good if you have an ongoing health issue. I panicked and quit after a serious health diagnosis. I wish I could return but unfortunately I am ineligible for rehire.

Thank you for your review. We agree with you that our training, health benefits (that start on day one!) and compensation are excellent. These are just a few reasons we continue to be certified as a Best Place to Work™. We are truly sorry to hear about your health diagnosis and the challenges that followed during your time with us. Everyone’s well-being is very important to us, and our Benefits team works hard to provide our associates with the best healthcare opportunities. Deciding to leave had to be very difficult, and we appreciate all your contributions while at Availity. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Thank you for this concise review. We agree with you - Availity has great people who care about each other and provide positive solutions that will trickle down to everyone who is touched by the healthcare system. We appreciate your feedback about team-level management. We seek to ensure our management processes empower and support our teams so they perform at their best. Understandably, inconsistency in management styles can impact the teams’ dynamics and productivity. Micromanagement is not the norm at Availity, and we are sad to see it mentioned here. Our culture is based on trust and autonomy across all teams. Everyone should have the freedom to innovate, develop, and share all ideas in a safe environment. Please reach out to your manager or HR Business Partner with your concerns. Thank you again for your review. We appreciate all you do for Availity.

Pros

Bonus, PTO, Schedule Flexibility, Diversity

Cons

Micromanagement, short breaks and lunches, very high call volume, difficult to promote within, as management has their first picks/favorites.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the yearly bonus, the unlimited PTO, our diverse and inclusive environment, and the flexible schedule while you were at Availity. Call volume at Availity varies, and it can sometimes get busy. Our Client Support Specialists serve a critical function as they assist and delight our customers daily. While the role may be challenging, it can also be a rewarding experience to help our customers solve problems. Promotions happen regularly at Availity, and they are based on associate performance; hiring from within is something we love to do. Neither micromanagement nor nepotism is tolerated at Availity. While accountability is essential, our leaders are there to provide space for innovation and guidance to help every associate on their career journey. We appreciate your feedback and wish you much success in your next chapter.
