Pros

Management listens to concerns of workers.

Cons

Training during the pandemic was not good. The pay increase after 90 days comes with other stipulations.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Since going fully remote in March 2020 and continuing to embrace remote work today, we have invested so much energy into improving our onboarding and training programs. Overall, we have received positive feedback from associates, but we’re sorry if the training didn’t meet your needs or expectations. We appreciate your feedback.

Pros

The company as a whole was pretty great. I got an amazing opportunity with another company and they fully supported it.

Cons

Unfortunately is all about who you know and less about your skills.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We think Availity is pretty great, too. We are sorry that you felt like connections outweighed skills in terms of growth and opportunity. Indeed, building a solid network and deepening relationships with colleagues and leaders can help you in your career, but that growth strategy holds true in most organizations. Skills are essential at Availity. We couldn’t agree more with your advice regarding our hard-working technical support associates in Availity Client Services. Many of our tenured associates started their careers at Availity in ACS, and we even created our Passport Program to ensure even more find their way to other roles in the company once they build their amazing knowledge base. In 2021, we promoted 51 associates from Availity Client Services to more advanced positions throughout the organization, and we promoted 32 in 2020. We also recently launched our new personalized learning program, Succeed, to help everyone build and develop the skillsets they feel they need to progress in their career—at any level. Again, thank you for your feedback! We wish you all the best in your new position.

The Good Place

Pros

I have worked in some companies where I worked late nights and some weekends just to accomplish my tasks and still there are lots of things that needs to be done. Well I don't mind it, I like my job and things gets easier as you get more experience, plus as a senior engineer, I expected the workload and responsibilities. When I started working at Availity I did the usual routine work hard, spend extra hours, do whatever it takes to get the job done. However, it is different at Availity, my managers are advising me not to forget work-life balance and make sure that I am not pushing myself too hard. Our team is small so I get to learn a lot, my project requires a new set of skill which I like, the team understands the learning curve involved and wouldn't put any pressure. I like working at Availity, it is one of the blessings in my career.

Cons

I tried looking for cons but can't think of any. Maybe, if a person don't like getting challenged then it might be hard working here.
