Pros

I have a pretty good sup. I get assistance from other reps when needed. Im not constantly stressing because of super strict rules an regulations. Its a laid back work environment.

Cons

The Training that was done is overall good but as far as actually assisting people we only go over tools rather than actually study them. Alot of needed information we are not given during training to be able to feel confident in understanding what we need to do .

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. First, we are glad you’re here and glad that you are enjoying our environment and our fantastic team! We hear your comments on training and have recently implemented several improvements to our overall training program. These include a more personalized training approach that allows associates extra time to enhance their skills in one phase if they are unprepared for the next, more time listening to experienced reps take live calls, side-by-sides, and improved call routing based on an associate's training level. We recognize the value in practice to gain confidence in all the possible areas our customers may need our support with when they contact Client Services. We are committed to ongoing improvements in learning and training, both remotely and when we return to the office. As you mentioned, we have people in place to support our new client service associates when they need help assisting callers, and we know that getting everything down takes time and practice. Lastly, we are always working to improve. Some improvements can come fast, but some changes take time to evaluate and implement across the organization. We encourage you to share your feedback—your ideas may help make the Availity experience better for everyone.

Pros

Great environment. Great people to work with. The company seems like they care.

Cons

The metrics required to hit are based off random variables. You could get stuck with long calls constantly and it reflect negatively on your metrics because youre not lucky enough to get shorter calls.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. First, we are glad you’re here and glad that you are enjoying our environment and our fantastic team! We do care - and are so happy that you can feel that. Second, the Client Service Management team uses a variety of metrics to measure overall performance for representatives. While it is true that some individual metrics can vary on a day to day basis, the positive progression over time is where the primary focus is. Lastly, we are always working to improve. Some improvements can come fast, but some changes take time to evaluate and implement across the organization. We encourage you to share your feedback—your ideas may help make the Availity experience better for everyone.

Pros

Teams become family Smart people building products that solve big problems for Providers Benefits improving thanks to new HR leader

Cons

No carrot, only stick Lack of diversity - though company is trying to course correct. Time will tell if this is just virtue signaling or if HR will begin to hold hiring managers accountable.

We agree. Our teams at Availity feel like family, and we are lucky to work with such talented, smart people to help improve the healthcare industry. Our HR team has been working hard this past year to enhance our benefits and we couldn’t be happier with some of the recent changes including the addition of paid parental leave. Research shows it’s one of the strongest ways a company can support women. These efforts are something we’re really proud of, so thank you for noticing! On the topic of diversity, we disagree. Availity is (and has been) a diverse organization, and it’s growing more diverse every day. We know that we need to improve diversity at our management and senior leadership levels—but we are working on that. Ongoing dialogue and efforts focused on diversity are important to us....watch our efforts grow! Women can (and do) thrive at Availity. There is a tremendous amount of talent among the women we have working at Availity. From our She Can Code It-sponsored women in technology group to our new “AvaiLadies” group formed from our D&I program, the women at Availity are active in promoting, recognizing, mentoring, celebrating, and recruiting women in HIT. We strongly encourage women to join our team!
